Cougars netminder Justin Pogge made 27 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season as the Prince George Cougars down the Everett Silvertips 2-0 at the Everett Events Center. With the loss, the Silvertips fall to 24-20-7-1.
Both goals scored for Prince George were tallied in the 3rd period by Chris Falloon and Dustin Byfuglien. Everett outshot Prince George by a margin of 27-25 in the hockey game. The Silvertips went 0 for 5 on the power play and the Cougars went 0 for 3 on the extra man advantage.
The Silvertips will be back in action on Friday, February 6th when the Tips' face off with the Vancouver Giants at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, B.C. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
