
Cougars Postponed in Peoria

PEORIA, IL - Saturday night's game at O'Brien Field between the Kane County Cougars and Peoria Chiefs was postponed due to rainy weather and frigid temperatures. It will be made up Sunday afternoon at 2 CT as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games.
The Cougars (8-0), who are off to their best start in team history and won the series opener against the Chiefs, 10-3, on Friday night, are expected to send Jamie Richmond to the mound in Game 1 and Scott Mitchinson in Game 2 against the Chiefs (4-5).
