The Snappers were unable to snap out of their game one funk as they lost 6-2 to the Kane County Cougars in game two. Cole Devries picked up his fifth loss of the season, allowing all six Cougars' runs.
Kane County jumped ahead 4-0 after three and a half, putting the Snappers behind early once again. Beloit, however, would respond with a run of their own in the bottom of the fourth.
Danny Berg hit a bases loaded, sacrifice fly to center, scoring Joe Benson from third. Berg's RBI drew the Snappers to within three, 4-1.
Kane County then added two more runs the next inning to stretch their lead to 6-1.
Danny Santiesteban singled home the Snappers' final run of the game in the bottom of the sixth. Santiesteban drove home Eli Tintor who earlier doubled. Danny's RBI made it a 6-2 ballgame after six.
The Snappers were unable to score another run in the game as they went on to lose by the final of 6-2.
The loss resulted in a sweep of the doubleheader by the Cougars.
