
Cougars and Devil Rays Rained Out

Battle Creek, MI - Thursday night's game between the Kane County Cougars and Southwest Michigan Devil Rays at C.O. Brown Stadium was postponed by rain. It will be made up on Friday as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games. The first game is scheduled to begin at 5:05 p.m. CT, and the second contest will follow shortly after the conclusion of the first. Both games will be broadcast on WBIG 1280-AM and the Internet.
Jared Lansford (11-5, 3.03) will oppose Matt Walker (3-3, 3.26) in the first game, and Joe Piekarz (5-5, 3.04) is set to face Jake McGee (6-8, 2.75) in the second portion.
The Cougars return to Elfstrom Stadium on Saturday night to face the Peoria Chiefs in a four-game series.
