
Cougars and Chiefs Postponed Due to Rain

PEORIA, Ill. -- Due to severe thunderstorms in the area, Monday's game in Peoria was postponed. The Cougars jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Chesny Young's RBI single, but the Chiefs tied the ballgame in the bottom of the frame. The game will resume at 5:00 p.m. at Dozer Park with a runner at third base, two outs and 1-1 in the bottom of the first. The game will consist of seven innings.
Game 2 will begin aprroixmately 30 minutes after game one's end. The second game of the twin bill will also be scheduled for seven innings. The game can be heard on AM 1280 WBIG and kccougars.com.
