CornBelters Announces 4th Home Stand

Normal CornBelters News Release
The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, will host the next homestand of their inaugural season at the Corn Crib from Tuesday, July 6 through Sunday, July 11. They will play the Oakland County Cruisers on July 6, Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8. Following, they will play the Traverse City Beach Bums on Friday, July 9, Saturday, July 10 and July 11. With the exception of July 11 (5 p.m.), all games begin at 7 p.m. and gates open one hour prior to game time. Tickets are still available for each of the six games!
It is "Bonus Baseball & FREE Food" at the Corn Crib from July 6 through July 8. In honor of adding three additional games to the schedule late, any fans utilizing a paid Box Seat ticket will receive a voucher for a FREE hot dog, bag of chips and soda as they enter the ballpark! Fans can redeem their vouchers at the hot dog stand next to the "Fan Information Booth" behind section 106 on the concourse. Kids can run the bases after the game on July 6. Plus, CornBelters Reading Program participants can redeem/upgrade their vouchers for tickets to the game! July 7 is a "Dog Day," and fans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the ballpark. The following night, select $1.00 draft beers will be served from two concession stands ("Thirsty Thursday").
The CornBelters welcome the Beach Bums to town for the first time on July 9, and fans will be treated to post-game fireworks courtesy of CEFCU. The team will also wear special patriotic jerseys that will be auctioned off on Friday, September 3. July 10 is "LiveStrong Night," and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a FREE Lance Armstrong bracelet! The homestand wraps up on July 11 with a Verizon Hal Lanier bobblehead giveaway to the first 1,000 kids (12 and under) entering the ballpark. There will also be a post-game family autograph session on the field!

THE NIBLET: On Friday, August 13, the CornBelters will host a "State Farm Legends Reception" at the new Marriott in uptown Normal. The following day is the "State Farm Legends Game" featuring former Chicago and St. Louis MLB players such as Bob Dernier, Keith Moreland, Turk Wendell, Micky Morandini, Rick Reuschel, Lee Smith, John Tudor, Andy Van Slyke and Cal Eldred. Tickets for both events are currently on sale!
The CornBelters currently have prorated full season tickets, prorated mini-plan packages, various group outings and individual game tickets available for their inaugural season.
