CornBelters Announce Double Header with ISU Football Season Opener

NORMAL, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, have changed the start time for the final State Farm Saturday of the season to 1:00 pm. The change comes after speaking with Illinois State University's (ISU) Athletic Department offices about promoting a "double header" featuring CornBelters Baseball at 1:00 pm and ISU Football's home opener at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 3 rd .
Any ISU football game ticket brought to the Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office located at the Corn Crib during the final home stand will receive their t ickets to the September 3rd CornBelters game for only $5! ISU Football tickets will also be available for purchase during the CornBelters home stand. Fans who purchase their ISU Football tickets at the Corn Crib will also be eligible for the discounted CornBelters ticket.
The Belters will battle Florence Freedom, home at 1:00 pm while pushing for a spot in the playoffs. To follow will be ISU Football's season home opener against Valparaiso at 6:00 pm at Hancock Stadium.
We encourage CornBelters and ISU Football fans to come out and support both teams for an exciting Saturday filled with athletics!
