Uncasville, CT - The Connecticut Sun announced today that the team has waived forward, Liz Dixon.
Dixon signed with the Sun on June 3 and appeared in four games for the team. The rookie out of the University of Louisville tallied her first professional points in the Sun's 89-68 win over the Lynx on June 22. Dixon logged 22 minutes for Connecticut accumulating four points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over four games.
The Connecticut Sun are back in action on Tuesday, July 18 at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT when they take on the Phoenix Mercury.
