CONDORS COUNTDOWN WITH MATT O'DETTE

TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors play the first of a three-in-three weekend with their second meeting of the season against the Las Vegas Wranglers. It is the third of five consecutive home games for the Condors, who will host Stockton tomorrow night and travel to face the Thunder on Sunday. This is home game number four and the sixth overall for the Condors. Las Vegas is playing game number four and road game num ber two.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield split a weekend set at Rabobank Arena against San Francisco, dropping the opener 5-3 and rebounding with a 2-1 shootout win the next night. F Alex Hudson scored on Saturday to extended his scoring streak to three games (1g-2a) and LW Evan Trupp assisted on the tally to run his streak to three games (0g-4a) as well. G Scott Greenham picked up his first win of the season, stopping all five shootout attempts.

Las Vegas also halved a weekend series at home against Stockton, winning 3-2 in overtime and falling 5-4 in their last outing. F Judd Blackwater scored in both games and has goals in each of the Wranglers three games this season. G Joe Fallon got the start on Friday earning the victory, his second of the season.

CONDORS NOTES

This is the beginning of the second three-in-three this season. Bakersfield will play three games in three nights on five different occasions... G Scott Greenham is the only ECHL goalie to record a five-for-five shootout mark this season. It was his first-ever pro shootout... LW Evan Trupp (Mon.) and D Justin Pender (Thurs.) turned 25 and 24 years old respectively this past week.

WRANGLERS NOTES

Las Vegas is fourth with 24.33 shots-against per game...Vegas has only played road contests against Bakersfield. In fact, they play their first four road games in Bakersfield. Their first non-Condors road game is not until Nov.23 in Idaho...Vegas is tied-fifth in the ECHL with a 90.0% penalty-killing percentage.
