ROSTER UPDATE: G Dave McKee was recalled by the Iowa Chops (AHL) today. G Manny Martinez was signed as an emergency back-up goaltender today. D Donny Grover, acquired from Cincinnati last week, was added to the roster and placed on the 3-IR today. He will be eligible to be activated on Tuesday. D Chris Kaufman remains on the 7-IR and LW Bobby Bolt remains on the 30-IR, though both are eligible to be activated. D Sean Hurley is on 30-IR and can be activated on Jan. 28.
SERIES HISTORY: The Condors and Aces meet for the fifth time this season, completing a two-game series at Rabobank Arena this weekend. The Condors and Aces have split the four previous games, with Alaska holding on to a 6-5 win last night.
All-time, the Condors have a 51-55-15 record in 121 games against their long-time rivals, dating back to the West Coast Hockey League. Three games remain in the series after tonight, all here in Bakersfield.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES: Tonight's game features the Condors Zamboni Pillow Giveaway, sponsored by 93.1 Pirate Radio and Goodwill Industries. The first 2,000 fans, 5-and-older, will receive a free and fluffy zamboni pillow!
