Condors training camp opens next week

BAKERSFIELD Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, are set to open their 2009-10 Training Camp next Friday, Oct. 2 at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center.
Training camp will last for two full weeks, leading up to the drop of the puck on Friday, Oct. 16 against the Ontario Reign. The team's first session on the ice next Friday is from 9:30 - 11 a.m., while a second skate is planned that afternoon from 4 - 5 p.m.
There will also be a double practice on Saturday, Oct. 3, the day of the annual Condors Open House and Family Day. The team will practice from 8 - 9:30 a.m., and then return to the ice in the afternoon for the fans to attend. From 2 - 3:30 p.m. the team will practice and scrimmage, and then join the fans on the ice for a free public skate from 4 - 5 p.m. Admission to the Open House is free with the donation of two non-perishable food items.
