
Condors help Habitat for Humanity at the Kern County Fair September 28

This Week:
Monday, September 25th: The Condors will hold national anthem auditions from 4- 6pm at the Rabobank Arena. Individual singers and small groups are invited to audition. The Condors are looking for Canadian National Anthem singers as well as American Anthem singers.
Thursday, September 28th: Members of the Condors front office staff will attend the Kern County Fair to help build a home for Habitat for Humanity from 1-6pm. Later that evening, Condors players Mike Hofstrand and Kevin St. Jacques will attend the fair to visit with KUZZ from 6-8:45pm and be available for autographs.
Friday, September 29th: The Condors Care-A-Van will head to Delano with Goodwill Industries to visit Morningside Elementary from 8-9:30am and Delano Regional Medical Center from 10-10:30am. Condor player Josh Liebenow will speak to children at Morningside Elementary for the "Success Day" assembly along with Community Relations Manager Jill Watts. Donations for Goodwill will be accepted at both locations.
Friday, September 29th: Condors Account Managers, Tim Statezni and Mark Goodwin, will attend the Third Annual Bakersfield City School District's Community Partners In Education Day to discuss educational issues in and effort to build a stronger community. Saturday, September 30th: The Bakersfield Condors are holding mascot tryouts from 1-3:45pm at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q Street. The Condors are looking for energetic mascots to attend community appearances and interact with the fans on game nights. No experience necessary. Call 324- PUCK (7825) to reserve your spot.
Week in Review:
Thursday, September 21st: The Condors Job Fair was held in search of responsible game-day employees to help with game night operations, on-ice events and in-stands promotions. For more information on game-day employment opportunities please contact the Condors front office at 324-PUCK (7825) or stop by the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Ave. to fill out an application.
Friday, September 22th: The Bakersfield Homeless Center held a Boots and Bachelors Auction for the perfect "girls night out" at Buck Owens Crystal Palace. Colonel Claw'd hit the stage to help auction off a Condors suite. More than $100,000 was raised on behalf of the families and individuals supported by the Bakersfield Homeless Center

Wednesday, October 4th: Condors player Steve Rodberg will visit the students at Sing Lum Elementary to speak about the importance of school, the community, opportunities, roles models and excellence in education. Sunday, October 8th: The Condors Open House will be held at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q St. from 12- 3pm. This event marks the first chance for the public to meet the 2006-07 team and watch them on the ice during a practice. It is also the first day for season ticket holders to pick up their ticket packages and Kids Club members to grab their gear. Fans will also be able to skate with the team following their practice at 2pm. Skate rentals are available for $3 and are subject to availability. Admission is free with the donation of two non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
Just for Kids:
Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to six (6) games, membership card and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.
Parents can purchase the Kids Club corresponding ticket plan for $54 and receive six (6) tickets to the Kids Club game nights, so that you can enjoy the game with your child.
