Condors Game Preview: 2-For-1 Tickets with a Canned Food Donation Tonight

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors host the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. tonight on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena. Fans can purchase 2-for-1 tickets by donating two non-perishable food items at the game. The food will be donated to the Valley Bible Fellowship Food Pantry.

TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors host the San Antonio Rampage for the third games in a five-game homestand. San Antonio has won three straight in the season series with two more meetings after tonight between the two sides. The Rampage come back to Condorstown on Saturday after venturing to San Diego on Friday.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield opened a five-game homestand with back-to-back losses at the hands of San Diego and Texas. Saturday night, LW Rob Klinkhammer scored and added an assist, but the Condors could not find the equalizer late against the Stars.

San Antonio picked up three points in two games in Cleveland against the Lake Erie Monsters. On Saturday, with the game scoreless and two minutes remaining, the Monsters struck twice for a 2-0 lead. It did not last long as the Rampage scored twice in the final minute and won in the seventh round of the shootout.

CONDORS NOTES

LW Rob Klinkhammer is tied for the AHL lead with three shorthanded goals. He scored on the penalty kill on Saturday... D Jordan Oesterle was recalled by Edmonton on Sunday. Should he play, he would become the 16th Condor to play in both Bakersfield and Edmonton this season... D Nikita Nikitin played in his 600th professional game on Saturday with Edmonton in a career spanned between the NHL, AHL, and KHL.

RAMPAGE NOTES

San Antonio has been to overtime 13 times this season, while the Condors have been to overtime a league low five times... G Reto Berra, assigned on a conditioning loan to San Antonio from Colorado , made 39 saves on 40 shots in his first appearance with the Rampage on Saturday and stopped six of seven shooters in the shootout.
