BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Karaoke, auctions and dinner served by Condor players kept the evening in high spirits as the Bakersfield Condors took part in the 7th annual Tip-A-Condor Charity Dinner to benefit the Kern County Shrine Club this past Monday.

Fans poured into the Crystal Palace for an evening of fun and excitement that began with Condors Eric Neilson and Ryan Munce taking to the stage and singing their version of "Hit Me with Your Best Shot." The evening was filled with tons of laughter, smiles and memorable moments highlighted by Dennis Shiryaev & Mathieu Brunelle singing Kenny Chesney's song "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" and the entire team dancing the Hokey-Pokey.

The silent auction featured items such as a golfing package that included a new Taylor Made golf bag and a round of golf with Condor Kevin St. Jacques as well as a Condors jersey signed by the band KORN. The evening ended with a live auction, which included Condors original print pictures, signed memorabilia and a travel package to the Condors vs. Grizzlies games in Utah that went to one lucky winner for a bid of $2,400.

"Tip-A-Condor went very well this year," said Shriners' President Rex Garner. "We are pleased at the outcome and are astounded at how loyal Condors fans are. Their unbelievable enthusiasm really showed how they support the Condors and the Shrine Club."

This year's Tip-A-Condor event successfully raised over $16,000 for the Kern County Shine Club. The Shrine Club has been in operation for more than 50 years and continually raises money through charitable events to help improve Shriner's hospitals throughout the U.S. In all, the Condors have donated more than $1.5 million in goods, services and money to non-profit organizations since 1998.

The Condors will head to Fresno on Friday to face the Falcons at 7pm and return to Stockton Saturday for a 7:30pm face off. The next home game is Monday, February 27th; doors open at 6pm, puck drops at 7pm. All fans in attendance at Monday's game will receive a free KUZZ 107.9 & U.S. Army poster.

All games, home and away, can be seen online through B2 Networks, accessible via www.bakersfieldcondors.com, and can be heard live on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 with "Condors Countdown" starting 15 minutes prior to face off.
