CONCACAF Announces Nashville Will Host Gold Cup Semifinal on July 3
October 9, 2018 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Nashville SC News Release
MIAMI - Nashville's #GoldRush and its ascension to a premier soccer city continued on Tuesday morning as CONCACAF, the governing body for all North American international soccer, announced that Nashville would host a 2019 Gold Cup Semifinal game on July 3, 2019 at Nissan Stadium.
While the teams competing in that semifinal are still unknown at this point, if the United States were to make the semifinal, it would play in the one in Nashville. Every Gold Cup semifinal since 2007, and 25 of 30 dating back to the beginning of the Gold Cup in 1991, has featured one of Mexico or the U.S. and Nashville will draw the Americans in 2019.
Nashville SC Season Ticket Members will have the first presale opportunity to purchase tickets to the Gold Cup Semifinal as an added benefit of their commitment to NSC and professional soccer in the Music City. Members of the Nashville SC Fan Club will also have a presale for Gold Cup tickets as a perk for following the team in its inaugural season.
To become a Nashville SC Season Ticket Member for the 2019 season, purchase a ticket package at NashvilleSC.com/SeasonTickets or speak to a ticket representative by calling (615) 457-8200.
