Charleston Battery News Release

Charleston Battery forward Ataulla Guerra has been called into the Trinidad and Tobago National Team this week ahead of a friendly in Thailand on Sunday, October 14.

Guerra scored his team-high 15th goal of the season in the Battery's 2-1 loss to Atlanta United 2 at Coolray Field Sunday afternoon. The 30-year old attacker also leads the Battery in assists with five.

Sunday's exhibition against Thailand is part of Trinidad and Tobago's continued preparation for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Guerra played 67 minutes and scored a goal in Trinidad's 2-0 win over United Arab Emirates last month.

Guerra will miss the Battery's final match of the regular season while away with the national team. Charleston travels to Canada to take on Ottawa Fury FC on Saturday, October 13 before the opening round of the playoffs the following weekend.
