
Comets Sign Forward Brett Mckenzie To Ato

Utica, NY - Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher has announced that the club has signed forward Brett McKenzie to an amateur tryout contract.
McKenzie, 20, recently finished his season in the Ontario Hockey League with the North Bay Battalion playing in 67 regular season games ranking first on the team in goals (29) assists (38) and points (67). The Vars, Ontario native totaled 175 points (79-96-175) and 166 penalty minutes in 264 career regular season games in the OHL, all with North Bay.
McKenzie was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round, 194th overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
