Comebacks Not Enough

The Lookouts came back from deficits twice last night only to lose the game in the tenth inning 5-4 to the Smokies. Trailing in the fifth, Tanner English tagged a home run to tie the game 1-1. In the eighth inning Brent Rooker socked a line drive two run homer to give the Looks a 3-1 lead. Smokies would tie the game in the eighth on a couple of doubles. In the tenth, Ryan Walker would start at second base in the extra inning. With one out Alex Perez single him home for the lead 4-3. Wyatt Short pitched his way to a win as Zack Short would drive in the winning run and the Lookouts third consecutive loss. Final game of the series tomorrow and Omar Bencomo take the hill against Thomas Hatch at 7:00 EDT. Air time on 96.1 is set for 6:45 and on MiLB.com.
