PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC will be hosting Pittsburgh's Largest World Cup watch party at Highmark Stadium on Friday, November 25 at 2 p.m. for the United States' second group match against England.
Along with the excitement of the World Cup match, fans in attendance will be treated to live music, tailgate games and kids activities, featured cocktails and food, and the first 30 people in attendance will receive a limited edition Riverhounds World Cup T-shirt.
Raffles will also be held with proceeds benefitting Open Field, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the lives and futures of youth through sport-based programming. Among the raffle prizes up for grabs are a stay at Nemacolin Woodlands resort, a Diontae Johnson autographed mini-helmet, wide-screen smart TVs from USL Championship Playoff sponsor Hisense, 2023 Riverhounds ticket packages, and more.
Gates for the free, public event will open at 1 p.m. Fans are requested to RSVP at riverhounds.com/worldcup prior to arrival. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be moved indoors.
