Phoenix Rising FC News Release
PHOENIX, Arizona (Tuesday, November 22) - Baer Fisher will join the Phoenix Rising FC Board of Directors representing Vincere Capital, a Scottsdale-based family office that recently completed a multimillion-dollar investment in the two-time Western Conference Champions.
"After months of searching for investment opportunities within professional soccer, it turned out the perfect fit was right in our hometown," said Pablo Prichard, President of Vincere Capital. "We are pleased to be joining a club that has a winning spirit in their DNA, a committed leadership team, and most importantly an incredible and passionate fan base. We look forward to helping continue to grow the beautiful game in the Valley of the Sun."
Vincere joins a collection of local business leaders and international celebrities in leading Arizona's professional soccer team. Rising announced plans to move its 10,000-seat stadium into the heart of Phoenix ahead of the 2023 season after the City Council voted unanimously to approve a land lease for the club on November 16. Rising intends to open its 2023 regular season at the site, located near 38th Street and Washington, in the Spring.
"After working toward this day over many months, we are thrilled to welcome Vincere Capital to the Phoenix Rising family," said Phoenix Rising Governor Bill Kraus. "In addition to capital, the Vincere team brings passion, knowledge and creativity to an already accomplished Rising Board and shareholder group. We look forward to working together to grow the game in Arizona, and elevate Rising to the highest level of professional play for its passionate fans."
