Comcast to Televise Remainder of the Series

The Spokane Chiefs have announced that the remaining games in the Western Conference Championship series with the Tri-City Americans will be televised live on Comcast channel 78. Game five from Tri-City will be played on Saturday night in Kennewick beginning at 7:30. Game six will originate from the Spokane Arena on Monday, April 28th with an "if necessary" game seven being played on Tuesday, April 29th in Tri-City at 7:00.

"Comcast is doing a great job of delivering Chiefs hockey to their customers this year. This series has been everything a hockey fan could ask for and now Chiefs fans can watch the remainder of it every step of the way," Chiefs Vice President Mark Miles said.

Spokane and Tri-City are tied at two games a piece in the series with three of the four going into overtime. Spokane has shutout the Americans twice with their wins in game one and three while the Americans earned a 1-0 decision in game two and a 3-2 win in game four.

SERIES TURNS INTO A BEST OF THREE

As expected, the Western Conference Championship series will be a long one, and as expected, neither team has given the other much room to move. By splitting the first four games of the series the Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans have guaranteed that it will go at least six games. Game five will be in Tri-City on Saturday and six in Spokane on Monday.

Tickets for game six are currently on sale at the Chiefs ticket office or by calling (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.

Three of the four games have gone into overtime and three have produced shutouts. There have been two combined power play goals, both scored in Tuesday night's win by Tri-City in game four. The American's victory has turned the series into a best-of-three. A potential game seven would be played on Tuesday, April 29th in Kennewick.

The tone the series has taken on isn't much of surprise considering three of their regular season games went to overtime and the Americans won the season series by just one point.

Game five will be played on Saturday at 7:30. Chiefs fans can follow the action by tuning into either the home of the Chiefs, 1510 KGA or watching it live on Comcast channel 78.
