
Ed Chynoweth Funeral Arrangements Announced

Ed Chynoweth, the primary architect and builder of the Western Hockey League and a driving force in the game of hockey at the national level for the past four decades, passed away yesterday in Calgary at the age of 66. Ed is survived by wife Linda and his sons Jeff and Dean.
The Chynoweth family have announced plans for Ed's funeral service. The funeral service will be held on Monday May 5 at 2:00pm in Calgary at First Alliance Church (12345 - 40 Street S.E.).
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made in Ed Chynoweth's name directly to the Foothills Country Hospice Society, P.O. Box 274, Okotoks, AB T1S 1A5 or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2 (403-521-3433).
