Columbus Trims Training Camp Roster by Three Players

Syracuse, NY (September 30, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned the following two players to the Crunch.

Player (Position)

Dan LaCosta (Goalie)

Andrey Plekhanov (Defenseman)

In addition, the following player was released from his try-out contract with Columbus and invited to the Crunch's training camp.

Sebastian Dahm (Goalie)

The Crunch open their 15th AHL season with a home-and-home series against their I-90 rivals, the Rochester Americans. The teams will face-off at the Blue Cross Arena on Friday, October 10, followed by the Crunch's home opener at the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. Season and single-game tickets are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444.
