Columbus Recalls Center Craig MacDonald

Syracuse, NY (December 27, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Craig MacDonald from the Crunch.

MacDonald, 31, has appeared in all 31 games for the Crunch this season and currently ranks second on the club in scoring with eight goals, 11 assists and 33 penalty minutes.

A veteran of 11 professional seasons, the native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia was signed as a free agent by Columbus on July 14, 2008.

The Crunch's next game is Saturday, December 27 at 7:30 p.m. against the Hamilton Bulldogs at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
