
Columbus Crew SC Completes Transfer of Defender Chris Cadden

COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew SC today announced that it has completed the transfer of defender Chris Cadden to Scottish Premiership side Hibernian Football Club. As part of the agreement, Crew SC will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee Hibernian receives for Cadden.
Cadden played for Crew SC during the 2020 season, making 10 appearances (three starts) and registering one assist across all competitions for the Black & Gold.
"We would like to thank Chris for his time with Columbus Crew SC as he enters the next chapter of his career," said Crew SC President and General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. "We are appreciative of Chris' contributions and professionalism to the Club during our 2020 MLS Cup Championship run and wish him all the best moving forward."
TRANSACTION: Columbus Crew SC transfers defender Chris Cadden to Scottish Premiership side Hibernian Football Club on January 15, 2021. As part of the agreement, Crew SC will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee Hibernian receives for Cadden.
