
FC Dallas Signs Freddy Vargas on Loan from Deportivo Lara

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas has signed Venezuelan winger Freddy Vargas on loan from Deportivo Lara. Vargas will occupy an international slot and will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
FC Dallas has the option to exercise a permanent transfer on Vargas' contract following the duration of the loan in December 2021.
Vargas, 21, joins FC Dallas after spending four seasons with Venezuelan first-division side Deportivo Lara. He has appeared in 113 matches across all competitions, including seven appearances in Copa Libertadores.
Vargas has been called up to represent the Venezuelan U-20 National Team.
