Syracuse, NY (January 19, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned defenseman Duvie Westcott to Syracuse.
Westcott, 30, has appeared in 2 games with the Crunch this season, tallying 3 assists and 2 penalty minutes. Westcott has also appeared in 23 games with Columbus this season, notching 1 goal, 3 assists and 30 penalty minutes. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Westcott was signed by Columbus as a free agent on May 7, 2001.
