
Colts Win 6-2 to Take Three of Four Games from McAllen

San Angelo, Texas---The Colts got a strong start for the second straight game, as they got seven innings from starting pitcher Logan Williamson to beat the McAllen Thunder 6-2 Sunday night.
The game began as a pitcher's duel with Williamson and his counterpart Kurt Houck matching each other frame for frame through three innings. The Colts scored first though, when Travis Calloway singled home Clay Calfee in the bottom of the fourth. San Angelo added two more runs in the fifth to lead 3-0.
Williamson was the star on this night for San Angelo, allowing just two runs on five hits through seven while striking out six. Clinging to a 3-2 lead after Williamson exited in the seventh, the Colts responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning to make the score 5-2. Davis Page (1) added his first homer of the season in the ninth.
Williamson (2-0, 4.50) picked up his second win of the season and Houck (1-1, 5.29) took the loss, despite striking out ten Colts hitters. Sean Kramer (1) pitched the ninth and earned his first save of the season.
The Colts are off Monday, but hit the road on Tuesday AT 7:05 PM to take on the Rio Grande Valley White Wings. In game one of the series Chandler Barnard (2-0, 3.75) will take the mound for the Colts against Rio Grande Valley's Chase Davenport (0-2, 8.64).
