Harlingen, Texas---After splitting a double-header the night before and losing game one of the series, San Angelo looked to get a split in the four-game set on Friday night before returning home. They would send the newest member of the Colts to the hill, in former WhiteWings starter Andrew Wells. The Colts got off to an early lead, but Rio would use the long ball against the Colts to go on to a 12-2 win.

The WhiteWings would hit four of their own though, a three-run homer by Leivi Ventura (11) and a two-run homer by Wilmer Pino (5) in the first and the Wings lead 5-1 after one. Rio added their third homerun in the first two innings, when Francisco Santana (7) homered, a two-run shot and it was 7-1 WhiteWings.
Their would be no scoring until the sixth, when the WhiteWings put up their second five spot of the game highlighted by a three-run shot by Gerardo Avila (7) and Rio lead 12-1 after six and would go on to win by a final of 12-2.
The Colts come back to Foster Field on Saturday to begin an eight game homestand starting with four against the Edinburg Roadrunners.
