
Colts Announce Ownership Restructuring

Barrie, ON- Jamie Massie, Chairman of the Barrie Colts, today is pleased to announce that Howie Campbell will join the organization as a majority owner.
Massie will retain his role as Chairman of the club and minority owner, as well, current partners Larry Stuart and Ward Seymour will remain minority owners.
Campbell, 42, is a dynamic and experienced businessman who established a twenty-year career in the electrical distribution business. From 1994 to 2006, he owned and operated Sesco Lighting, Toronto's leading distributor of electrical equipment and supplies, before selling the business to Home Depot Inc. in January 2006.
"We are proud and privileged to bring Mr. Campbell on as the majority owner of the hockey club, stated Jamie Massie. "He is an intelligent and passionate individual who is committed to continuing the traditions the Barrie Colts have established as an OHL hockey club."
The ownership re-structuring was officially approved by the Ontario Hockey League Board of Governors on Thursday April 6.
Campbell currently resides in Markham, ON and is married with four young children.
