
Colorado Eagles Sign Left Wing and Hire Play-by-Play Broadcaster

Windsor, CO â The Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League (CHL) signed left wing Chris Low and hired play-by-play broadcaster Tori Holt, the front office announced today.
Low comes to the Colorado Eagles after playing; eight seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Swift Current Broncos, the Brandon Wheat Kings, and the Prince George Cougars; one season at the University of British Columbia; two seasons with the Idaho Steelheads of the West Coast Hockey League (WCHL); three seasons with teams in the Western Professional Hockey League (WPHL) before its merger with the CHL for the Lake-Charles Ice Pirates and the Alexandria Warthogs; and one season with Colorado Eagles division rival, the Oklahoma City Blazers.
After playing for the Oklahoma City Blazers Low played for two seasons in the Central Senior Hockey League (CSHL) in Canada, where last season Low was chosen to play on the Ile-des-Chenes North Stars. Low helped lead the team to win the Allan Cup Senior AAA hockey championship in April, 2003.
"I have been told by rival sources that Low has is a highly skilled player with a lot of finesse," stated Colorado Eagles Head Coach Chris Stewart. "He comes to the Colorado Eagles highly recommended and I look forward to seeing how he performs in training camp."
The 6' 2", 195 pound Manitoba, Canada native, adds another level of experience and expertise to the Colorado Eagles.
"I am very anxious to get going," stated Low. "I am excited to be in Colorado and to have the chance to play for a professional team. And it is beautiful here!"
The Colorado Eagles have also hired a play-by-play broadcaster. Tori Holt comes to Colorado from Minnesota where he has called play-by-play action for football, hockey, and basketball teams throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin on MIX 105 Radio. Holt won the Tele Award in 1999 for the best television sports coverage and has studied with the Groudlings Improvisational School in Los Angeles, California.

Ticket prices for the Colorado Eagles two pre-season games against their division rival, Oklahoma City Blazers, are $12.50. The Colorado Eagles will be offering special group rates for the exhibition games. Groups of 15 or more will be able to purchase tickets for $10 per seat. Single game tickets are also available at Club Level for $21. Only single seats remain for the Colorado Eagles first official game October 17 against division rival, the Tulsa Oilers.
