
College Park Knocks off Birmingham 111-93

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell to the College Park Skyhawks, 111-93, Thursday night at Gateway Center in Atlanta.
Two-way guard Dereon Seabron scored 19 to lead Birmingham (8-12), while the league's leading scorer, Malcolm Hill, notched 14 points on 4-of-14 shooting from the field.
Izaiah Brockington and Jalen Crutcher each recorded 15 points, while Landers Nolley II scored 10 off the Squadron bench. On the night, Birmingham outscored College Park (12-8) 56-40 in points in the paint.
The Skyhawks' Jordan Bowden registered 25 points off the bench to lead all scorers, while Chris Silva scoed 20 to pace the College Park starting five.
The Squadron return to the court following the NBA All-Star break on Feb. 22 at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. Birmingham is set to host the Maine Celtics with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. on My68 and ESPN+.
