College Park Drops 106-87 Contest to Capital City

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (10-8) dropped the first of two contests in a row against the Capital City Go-Go (10-7), 106-87.

Chris Silva led the way for the Skyhawks, rejecting a season-high tying three shots for the third time this year, while adding 22 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes.

Brandon Randolph brought down a career-high nine boards, netting a game-high 15 points off the bench, in addition to two steals and one assist. Randolph has now scored 10+ points off the bench 11 times during the regular season in 15 games played.

Vit Krejci joined Randolph and Silva in double-figures, pouring-in a career-high 13 points and swiping a career-high three steals.

After a back-and-forth first quarter that ended with Capital City holding a 26-24 lead, the Go-Go opened the second quarter on a 7-0 run, eventually holding an 11-point lead heading into the half. The Skyhawks would cut the lead to seven multiple times in the third quarter behind buckets from Jarkel Joiner and Miles Norris but was thwarted by another Go-Go run that ended in an 80-63 lead heading into the final quarter.

Capital City was led by the combo of Devon Dotson (22 points) and Taylor Funk (21 points), combining for 43 points. Michael Foster Jr. also secured his sixth double-double of the regular season behind 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Skyhawks travel to Washington D.C. for a rematch with the Go-Go on Feb. 12th at 7 p.m., followed by the last home game before All-Star Break on Feb. 15th against the Birmingham Squadron. Fans can visit cpskyhawks.com to secure their seats now.
