
Clippers Take Down Legends In Regular Season Finale

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (17-15), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, defeated the Texas Legends (7-24), 128-125, on Thursday night to end their season on a high note.
Two Clippers recorded double-doubles on the night led by Xavier Moon's 26-point, 13-assist performance. Fellow two-way player Moussa Diabate followed suit with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Keaton Wallace finished with 33 points (15-21 FG), a game high.
Matching Wallace's performance were A.J. Lawson (12-20 FG, 3-6 3PT) and Justin Jackson (12-23 FG, 5-12 3PT) who recorded 33 points apiece for Texas. Grant Riller added 27 points (12-16 FG) in the defeat.
The game was evenly matched across the board. Both teams shot well from the field, with Ontario (55.4 %) edging out Texas (51%) in overall field goal percentage. The Legends out-shot the Clippers from distance, knocking down 15 three-pointers compared to nine. And both teams led by double-digits on the night - Texas by as much as 12 in the opening quarter and Ontario by 13 in the fourth.
