Clippers Can't Hold Lead in Saturday Loss

Once again the Columbus Clippers were done in by the long ball, as a 9th inning home run propelled the Buffalo Bisons to a 5-3 victory on Saturday at Huntington Park.
Columbus got a solo home run from Kyle Manzardo (3) in the 4th inning and a two-run blast by Johnathan Rodriguez (4) in the 6th. Rodriguez leads the club with 14 RBI on the season.
The game was even heading into the 9th inning, but then Anthony Gose (1-2) surrendered a two-run shot to Buffalo's Addison Barger.
The series between the Clippers and the Bisons will conclude on Sunday at 1:05pm for "Family Day" at Huntington Park. Tickets are available at ClippersBaseball.com.
