Clippers Beat Cruise Behind Career Night From Wallace

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (6-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, defeated the Motor City Cruise (1-7), 118-113, on Sunday afternoon for their fourth consecutive victory.

Keaton Wallace led all scorers with a career-high 39 points on 16-22 FGM (7-8 3PM). Xavier Moon added 27 points (11-21 FGM) and Nate Darling contributed 24 points (8-22 FGM).

The Cruise were led by Jared Rhoden's double-double of 30 points (9-20 FGM, 4-8 3PM) and 10 rebounds. David Nwaba also recorded a double-double, finishing with 10 points (5-11 FGM) and 13 rebounds in the loss.

The game was evenly fought, with neither team gaining more than a single-digit advantage. After the first half ended in a tie, the Clippers outperformed Motor City in the second half, shooting 61.5 percent (24-39 FGM) to the Cruise's 48.8 percent (20-41 FGM).

Next up, the Clippers look sweep the back-to-back in a rematch against the Cruise tomorrow night. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 pm PST inside the Toyota Arena.
