Stockton Kings Finish Series 2-0 against Rio Grande Valley Vipers

The Stockton Kings, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 124-118, on Saturday night at Stockton Arena for its third home win in the regular season.

DJ Steward poured in 25 points (9-19 FG), his fifth game this season, including the Showcase Cup, scoring at least 20 points off the bench. He also finished with a season-high six three pointers, three rebounds, and three assists. Keon Ellis posted 22 points (8-14 FG), seven boards and five assists, along with shooting 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. Jordan Ford added 15 points and six assists. Alex O'Connell and Chance Comanche combined for 29 points off the bench. Neemias Queta put up 10 points (5-7 FG), seven rebounds and two blocks.

For the Vipers, Cassius Stanley led the way with 25 points and six assists. Trevor Hudgins ended with 21 points through 40 minutes of play. The Vipers also saw double-digit performances from Ray Spalding (17 points), Darius Days (16), Jalen Lecque (14) and Trhae Mitchell (10).

Next, the Stockton Kings hit the road to take on the Austin Spurs on Monday, Jan. 16 at Cedar Park Arena. Monday's tip is set for 3:00 p.m. PT.
