
City Of Worcester Proclaims October As Sharktober

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the great City of Worcester has declared the month of October "Sharktober" in observance of the Worcester Sharks professional hockey team beginning the season.
On Tuesday night, Mayor Konstantina Lukes made a proclamation at the City Council meeting declaring Sharktober in Worcester for years to come.
"We are ecstatic that the City of Worcester has declared the month our season opens in as Sharktober," said Lehr. "Opening Night is October 13th at the DCU Center and we couldn't be any more excited to pack the house and get a win. We look forward to a decade of Sharktobers."
With this proclamation, the Worcester Sharks will now call the month of October "Sharktober" for the rest of their existence. Opening Night is just 10 days away and seats are going fast! Get your tickets for Opening Night on October 13th and attend a game during SHARKTOBER!
