OREM, UT -- The Idaho Falls Chukars-Orem Owlz game at Brent Brown Ballpark scheduled for tonight (Saturday, August 23rd) has been postponed due to unplayable conditions from yesterday's storm. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday night (time TBA). Each of the games will be scheduled for seven innings. Tomorrow's contest scheduled for 4pm will go on as scheduled.
This is the 5th Idaho Falls rain affected game in the last five days. Four of the past five days have ended prematurely due to weather. It's the seventh postponement of a Chukars game this season, after having no rainouts last regular season. The Greybirds are three games behind Grand Junction in the Pioneer League South standings with 13 games left.
