WAUSAU- Wausau native Adam Kramer took the mound in his Woodchuck debut Wednesday night. Kramer struck out two, gave up three hits, and allowed no earned runs before the game came to an abrupt end due to severe weather.
Before the delay, the Woodchucks struck first with an RBI infield single by Brad McKewon, brining around the anxious Hayden for the 1-0 lead.
Eric Filia- Snyder added to the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning against Mallards pitcher Anthony Marzi with an RBI single bringing around Nate Irving from second.
The rain woud begin to fall in the fifth inning putting a hold on the "ËChucks momentum.
The came would be called after an hour of delay, as the Woodchucks would take the full game, winning 1-0 over the Madison Mallards. The final run in the bottom of the fifth did not count due to the rain out.
