BOISE, ID (December 13, 2002) â The players, coaching staff and front office personnel of the Idaho Stampede will donate their time to help out the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa this Friday, December 13. The team will participate in the 3rd Annual Christmas Affair, presented by the Select Merchants of Nampa.
Stampede members will help less advantaged kids by taking part in the evening's activities, which include a spaghetti feed, silent auction and entertainment. All proceeds raised will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa.
The event will run from 5 PM to 8:30 PM, and takes place at the Old Edmark Building, located on the corner of 13th Avenue and 3rd Street in Nampa.
The Stampede returns to action on Saturday night in the Idaho Center against the league-leading Dakota Wizards. Tip-off is set for 7:10 PM. The following night, Idaho hosts the Yakima Sun Kings, with tip-off being moved up an hour to 6:10 PM.
