LONDON, ONTARIO - Two home runs, a triple and 4 RBIs from David Christensen powered the London Rippers (16-24) to an 8-6 victory over Washington (14-25).
Christensen knotted the game at 1-1 with his 6th homer of the season, in the 2nd .
His second blast of the night, with Cardullo on third after a triple, put London up 3-1.
The home run was followed by three straight singles, culminating in another Rippers run on a sacrifice fly by Matt Wright, launching the Rippers up 4-1 after 5 innings.
But a solo home run by Doug Thennis led off the sixth, followed by a ground rule double by Andrew Heck and Will Arnold's 2-RBI single gave Washington a 5-4 advantage.
Shain Stoner made it 6-4 with an infield single as Washington put up a five run sixth inning on four hits and three walks.
London narrowed the game to 6-5 in the bottom of the 6th, Joash Brodin singled and Christensen tripled, driving in his fourth run of the game.
