Chesapeake Baysox News Release

Former Baysox closer Chris Ray and O's relief pitcher Greg Aquino are scheduled to take the mound for the Baysox tonight as each have been sent to Bowie for rehabilitation assignments by the Baltimore Orioles.

Ray, who has been out all season after undergoing Tommy John ligament replacement surgery late last season is taking steps to regain his pitching form as he looks to return to the Orioles bullpen late this season or in 2009.

Aquino is rehabbing from a strained left hamstring he suffered on July 13th while pitching for Baltimore.

The Baysox are scheduled to send starter Chris Tillman to the mound. Tillman is seeking his 10th win of the season which would put him alongside Brad Bergesen (15) and Jason Berken (12) as the third Baysox pitcher to win double digit games this season.
