Chris Fleischmann Advances to Arkansas Travelers

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Chris Fleischmann, the Director of Ticketing and Premium Seating for the Dubuque Fighting Saints has accepted a position with the Arkansas Travelers and will be furthering his career in their front office. Fleischmann, who has wanted to pursue a career in baseball for some time, will get his chance and join the Travelers after five seasons with the Fighting Saints.

"I would like to thank Chris for the incredible effort he has given the Dubuque Fighting Saints over the past five years," said President of Business Operations Nick Shane. "Chris's time and dedication to the team has been second to none. On behalf of the Dubuque Fighting Saints, I would like to wish Chris the best of luck with his new opportunity. Chris will always be a part of the Fighting Saints family."

The Travelers are located in North Little Rock, Arkansas and are the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The Travelers are members of the Texas League which is comprised of eight teams located in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The Travelers, who are part of the league's North Division, have been members since 1966.

"First and foremost, I want to thank the entire Fighting Saints organization for all they have done for me the last five years," said Fleischmann. "I would like to thank Brad Kwong, Nick Shane and everyone else involved with the Fighting Saints for helping me grow in this position. I would also like to thank the fans who have truly made these last five seasons as memorable as they were. I am also very excited to take this next step with the Arkansas Travelers."

Fleischmann will conclude his tenure with the Fighting Saints on Friday, January 4th. Fleischmann is a 2013 Loras College graduate and started with the Fighting Saints in 2014.
