SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Saint John Sea Dogs, in partnership with the Telegraph-Journal, are proud to announce that former Sea Dog and World Junior Champion Chris DiDomenico will be making a special appearance at Harbour Station on Sunday, February 8.

The 19-year old Canadian National Junior Team alumnus and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect will be honored in a special ceremony prior to the Sea Dogs' 4pm game against the Moncton Wildcats. DiDomenico will be wearing his Team Canada jersey in addition to his Gold Medal during the ceremony.

"We're thrilled to be bringing Chris back to Saint John to celebrate his accomplishment with Team Canada properly," said Sea Dogs President Wayne Long. "He is the first player we've ever had skate on the national team at the World Juniors, and everyone in our organization was incredibly proud of how he played during the tournament. We hope to have a good crowd on hand for this very special tribute."

In the week leading up to DiDomenico's appearance, the Telegraph-Journal will be publishing a series of special commemorative posters featuring the two-time Sea Dogs Aliant Most Valuable Player. Fans will be able to have their posters signed by DiDomenico during a post-game autograph session on the main concourse at Harbour Station immediately following Saint John's final home game against Moncton of the regular season.

The Sea Dogs next hit the ice tonight at 7pm in a road contest versus the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Saint John's next home game is scheduled to be played on Friday, February 6 at 7:30pm versus the Rimouski Oceanic.
