
Lewiston MAINEiacs submit relocation request to QMJHL
January 31, 2009 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
BOUCHERVILLE, Saturday, January 31, 2009 - The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today confirmed that the League had received the appropriate documents from the Lewiston MAINEiacs organization asking for permission to relocate to the city of Boisbriand.
The Commissioner will now begin the process of studying the MAINEiacs' request and call for a Special Assembly of its Members. No dates have been set for either undertaking.
The Commissioner will not make any additional comments until the conclusion of the process.
