
Garrett Clarke suspended indefinitely

BOUCHERVILLE, Saturday, January 31, 2009 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that Lewiston MAINEiacs defenseman Garrett Clarke has been suspended indefinitely for cross-checking an opponent in yesterday's game versus the Victoriaville Tigres.
The length of the suspension will be announced later this week after reviewing the videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
