Lewiston, ME - The Lewiston MAINEiacs could not pull off the sweep of the Tigres this weekend. The Victoriaville Tigres defeated the Lewiston MAINEiacs 3-0 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Saturday night.
Victoriaville's Chad Earle scored the first goal for the Tigres in the first period. In the second, Keven Dupont and Maxime Tanguay put the game away for the visitors. Peter Delmas took his 24th loss of the year for the MAINEiacs and saw 27 Victoriaville shots. Antoinio Mastopietro earned his 9th win of the year and saw 34 Lewiston shots. The three stars of the game were 1) Antonio Mastropietro (VIC), 2) Maxime Tanguay (VIC), 3) Chad Earle (VIC)
The loss comes on a sobering night for Lewiston fans as the team annouced that they plan to relocate to Boisbriand, Quebec next season. The next MAINEiacs home game is Wednesday, February 18 against the Moncton WIldcats at 7:00 PM
