Chivas USA Waive Defender Fejiro Okiomah

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, March 6, 2014) - Chivas USA announced today that the club has waived defender Fejiro Okiomah. The 23-year-old joined the Red-and-White as part of their preseason roster in January and appeared in six matches while splitting time at right back and center back.

Chivas USA are currently in the final week of preseason training in preparation for their 2014 Major League Soccer season opener against the Chicago Fire on Sunday, March 9. Kickoff is scheduled for noon (PT) at the StubHub Center and will be nationally televised on UniMás. The match will also mark the first of 34 Regular Season games programmed to air on recently-named broadcast partner ESPN Deportes Radio KWKW 1330 AM.
