
Univision Deportes MLS Broadcast Schedule Finalized

NEW YORK (March 6, 2014) - Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company for Hispanic America, will broadcast 16 additional games of the 2014 Major League Soccer regular season on its 24-hour sports network, Univision Deportes Network (UDN). With this, the Univision MLS broadcast schedule is set with a total of 44 matches scheduled to air on the family of networks, the most regular season games by any network in the U.S. Ten games on UDN and eighteen on UniMás had been previously announced.
UniMás begins their coverage of MLS this Sunday, March 9 when Chivas USA hosts the Chicago Fire. The MLS games on UDN will begin on Saturday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m. ET when the Philadelphia Union play their first home game of the 2014 regular season against the New England Revolution.
The MLS on UDN schedule will complement the broadcast of 18 MLS regular season games on UniMás, for a total of 44 games broadcasting all 19 clubs.
Univision Deportes' exclusive, Spanish-language broadcast package also includes exclusive coverage of the 2014 AT&T MLS All-Star Game featuring the best of MLS against the European champions Bayern Munich on August 6 from Providence Park in Portland, OR, and MLS Cup, as well live steaming of select games on Univision's digital network, UVideos.
